The Program
WE WANT KIDS TO SPEAK SPANISH
OUR METHOD
During our class, we focus on vocabulary acquisition and practical conversation to build and promote speaking confidence. Our children learn by talking. We focus on learning vocabulary and mastering practical conversation. Students progress through introduction, reinforcement, and proficiency through a hands on, fully immersive approach, until they can fluently demonstrate their new knowledge.
We aim to build real-world Spanish skills that will give our students the confidence to speak and the enthusiasm to engage in the Hispanic culture. We follow a thorough Spanish program with interesting topics. Each topic has its own songs, flashcards, story books and other fun related materials inside our popular La caja Roja!)
OUR WORKBOOK - THE EVERYDAY SPANISH
We want our children to become knowledgeable with the world that surrounds them. Your child will embark on an exciting adventure and travel around the world, learning about iconic landmarks, new cultures, local cuisine, fascinating people and native wildlife! We have created our very own workbook "¿Dónde en el mundo están Carmen y Diego?"(Where in the world are Carmen and Diego). We involved the children into art projects to work out creativity, and respond to instructions. Having our students fully engaged is a key point in our program.

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT!

SPEAK SPEAK SPEAK
Our aim is for our children to confidently speak and form small phrases with correct accent and pronunciation. In the first 20 minutes of each class, we prioritize conversational skills using engaging tools like puppets, bomb games, microphones, weather charts, wheel of fortune, and hangman. Through continuous introduction and reinforcement of vocabulary, they naturally memorize the basic (greetings and emotions., clothes and colors, and lastly calendar, numbers and weather).

SING & PLAY
We introduce all-new vocabulary with an original song to accelerate learning and make it fun. During our second module, they sing and play age- appropriate challenging games, such as flyswatter, la bomba, donde esta el raton? and also express what they have learnt, through role play, and acting.

THINK THINK THINK
We want our children to get creative and we want them to become knowledgeable with the everyday things. Each art & craft activity is related to the country of study . Each project reinforces the vocabulary learnt in a fully immersive Spanish environment where they respond to commands. We built a Victorian style house, while learning "housing + England". We planted tomato and cilantro while learning "food + Mexico" and we decorated a colorful bird while learning "colors, animals + Brazil". We do scavenger hunts, science experiments, sorting recipes and baking, among other exciting projects turning your child's mind into a creative mode to conquer the challenges!

READ & WRITE
In each class, there's a dedicated writing segment. The workbook serves as an extra chance to reinforce the vocabulary and skills covered in class. They begin with single words and gradually progress to constructing phrases. It encompasses all 16 topics, along with a special "Explore Section" featuring Carmen and Diego's global adventures! Children adore this quest, bringing home clues and homework to make their guesses. They also read in class and are given weekly e-books to read at home.
